Welcome to 600 Middletown Avenue, a clean and sober residential living community located in the suburban area of North Haven, Connecticut and a short distance from the Connecticut shoreline and downtown New Haven which is highlighted for its diverse culture, music and arts.
Founded in 1999 by Bobby and Gail Hargrove, the 600 Middletown Avenue community has provided a clean and sober community for hundreds of drug addicts and alcoholics struggling through their addiction and seeking a new way of life.
Once an individual has completed their initial primary treatment program, a key to maintaining sobriety is to be in a safe, structured and supportive drug and alcohol free environment that gaps the bridge between early recovery and living a clean and sober life one day at a time.
We assist in supporting recovery based on the twelve steps model of AA and NA. These programs and other twelve step programs have proven to be successful for millions of people who have suffered through addiction and now are afforded with a daily reprieve from their disease.
The 600 Middletown Avenue management staff reviews each of the resident`s involvement in the community and adherence to policies and guidelines that are initially outlined upon entry to one of the residences. Should an individual deviate from their agreement, their behavior is reviewed and restriction imposed; repeated violations can lead to removal from the community.
